BACKGROUND EXPERIENCEAnika Boyce is an associate with Alvarez, Winthrop, Thompson & Storey, P.A. Her practice is focused on litigation.
Anika received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee in 2013. Thereafter, she received her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in in 2016.
Prior to joining the firm, Anika worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Orange County. She has worked on criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies. She has gained valuable experience in developing case strategy, negotiations with opposing counsel, and in fighting for her clients in the courtroom. She is a passionate and confident advocate.
Anika is a member of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and is currently the Membership Chair. She is also a member of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Anika was born in Florida and has lived here all of her life. Outside of the office she has a love for travel and has visited countries including Jamaica, Thailand, and Ghana. She enjoys trying new things and spending time with her loved ones.
