Chance Arias is Of Counsel with Alvarez, Winthrop, Thompson, & Storey, P.A., and uses his invaluable courtroom experience for the benefit of national and international corporations and insurance carriers. Chance focuses his practice on defending catastrophic injury matters, both pre-suit and through verdict.
Chance began his legal career as a prosecutor in Hillsborough County. During his time as a prosecutor, he was tasked with resolving a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor cases, which included attempted homicide, drug trafficking, armed robbery, and other serious crimes against people and property. In this capacity, he refined his courtroom prowess with a string of successful trial verdicts. Following an accomplished and rewarding tenure as a prosecutor, Chance accepted a position with a Tampa civil defense firm where he was on the front lines defending claims involving wrongful death, commercial trucking, motor vehicle accident, premises liability, FDUTPA, FCCPA, and negligent security matters.
Chance is a fourth-generation Tampa native and proud graduate of Jesuit High School. Chance went on to receive his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
