Dayna N. Nilsen is an associate with Alvarez, Winthrop, Thompson, & Storey, P.A. Her practice is focused on litigation.
Ms. Nilsen received her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in 2012. Thereafter she received her Juris Doctorate from Barry University in 2015. While in law school, Ms. Nilsen was a member of the trial team, where she competed in mock trials, as well as being a member of Phi Alpha Delta fraternity.
Prior to practicing, she was a certified legal intern for the State Attorney’s office in the 9th Judicial Circuit, as well as a law clerk at a local personal injury firm. Before joining AWTS, Ms. Nilsen worked for a large personal injury law firm where she represented Plaintiff’s that were injured in automobile accidents. During her four years working as a personal injury attorney, she gained valuable knowledge and insight which she now uses to aggressively defend her clients.
Ms. Nilsen is originally from Brewster, New York and has resided in Florida since 2008. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and binge watching Lifetime movies.
